How to connect ai2workout to Claude as a remote MCP server

ai2workout is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. That means any MCP-capable client — Claude today, more soon — can connect to it securely and call its tools. Here is the full setup.

1. Create your account

Sign up at ai2workout with email or Google. It takes under a minute and no credit card.

2. Connect Intervals.icu

From your workspace, open Integrations and click Connect Intervals.icu. You will authorize ai2workout on Intervals.icu with read access to your training data and controlled write access to your calendar.

3. Add the connector in Claude

  • Open Claude → Settings → Connectors.
  • Add a custom connector and paste the ai2workout MCP URL shown in your workspace.
  • Claude will walk you through a one-time authorization.

4. Start planning

Ask Claude to look at your recent training and plan the week. Because the write tools are scoped and auditable, you always review a plan before it is saved to Intervals.icu.

Your tokens are encrypted at rest and every tool call is logged — you can revoke access at any time.
Plan your next session with AI

Connect Intervals.icu and let Claude coach you with your real data.
